Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited college or university.
• Internship completed during Masters Program to obtain 45 credits.
• Required license eligibility with: LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• CANS Certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed).
• Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills.
• Familiarity with support groups.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients or family's needs and eligibility for services.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy sessions in accordance with assigned client needs.
• Support clients through collaboration with client’s family, school, other medical service providers, state agencies, other mental health services (including crisis services), and other community agencies and resources.
• Provide case management, referrals, and treatment planning for assigned clients.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the agency, community and referral sources.
