Job summary

Drysdale Property Management is seeking a licensed Property Manager and Leasing Specialist for its Sacramento Region. The role handles full lifecycle of rental properties, from marketing to lease enforcement, across multiple jurisdictions.

The candidate will manage listings on AppFolio, conduct showings, screen applicants, and ensure timely responses while adhering to California laws. In-person work is required and proactive communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Active California Real Estate Salesperson License.
• Experience with property management software (AppFolio) and Outlook.
• Knowledge of California tenant-landlord law and local ordinances.
• Strong communication and mediation skills.
• Ability to multitask across multi-city portfolio and meet deadlines.
• In-person work location required.

Responsibilities

• Market and lease properties through listings on AppFolio and other platforms.
• Screen applicants, run background and rental history checks.
• Coordinate showings, tours, and follow-up with prospects within 24 hours.
• Prepare and enforce notices and rent adjustments as required.
• Collaborate with Office Manager to ensure 2–3 day applicant turnaround.
• Travel to conduct property drive-by inspections as needed.
