We serve clients by acting as their independent advisor and broker for products in life insurance, health insurance, retirement, annuities, medicare, senior benefits, and more.

Your duties will include finding new clients as well as promoting and selling the company's insurance plans. We expect you to efficiently build and maintain long-term relationships to ensure the stability of the company's revenues and growth.

Insurance Agent Responsibilities:

1. Face-to-face interactions with clients
2. Consult clients about beneficial risk management strategies
3. Develop effective marketing strategies to sell insurance plans to current or new clients
4. Explore the needs of business or individual customers and propose suitable plans or services
5. Find opportunities and build relationships with potential customers using networking, cold calling, and other methods
6. Review insurance claims to ensure fair dealing and satisfaction
7. Prepare regular reviews of progress and present them to interested parties
8. Organize bookkeeping systems, databases, and records
9. Meet your goals in finding new clients and selling insurance products and services
10. Stay informed about market trends and updates in the field of insurance products and services

Insurance Agent Requirements:

• Life Insurance License preferred, but not required
• Good experience in providing client-focused solutions and building customer relationships
• Experience with major types of insurance plans including automobile, fire, life, property, medical, etc., is a plus
• Good knowledge of computers and statistical methods
• Strong communication, presentation, and sales skills
• Results-driven and able to work without supervision
• High School Diploma/GED required; Certifications/Degree preferred
