Qualifications

• Trade certification or Associate's degree required.
• Valid Maine High Pressure (HP) Boiler License required.
• 1-5 years of boiler operation or related industrial experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and performing minor repairs.
• Ability to work rotating shifts as part of a 24/7 operation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to workplace safety.
• No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain high‑pressure boiler systems and related equipment
• Monitor boiler performance and make adjustments as needed
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Respond quickly and safely to equipment malfunctions and emergencies
• Perform water treatment activities related to boiler operations
• Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of utility systems
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with preventative and routine maintenance activities
• Work closely with other team members to maintain efficient facility operations
• Train other plant personnel on boiler operations as directed
• Participate in safety meetings and inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
