Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree and active licensure.
• 5+ years of position-related experience.
• Experience with assessment, treatment planning, documentation and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Assess presenting problems and formulate treatment plans.
• Formulate discharge plans with the team and family.
• Conduct individual, group and family therapy.
• Document patient treatment in EMR.
• Consult with physicians and treatment teams on clinical issues.
• Coordinate care between patients, hospitals and community agencies.
• Provide medical reviews for precertification and concurrent reviews.
• Manage crisis situations with appropriate interventions.
• Identify and intervene in suspected abuse with sensitivity.
• Provide high-quality service with positive interpersonal relations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of involuntary commitment processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
