Qualifications

• Master’s degree required with at least one year of related experience and appropriate licensure (e.g., LPC, LMSW, LMFT, LMLP).
• Preferred licensure includes addiction counseling and clinical licensure.
• Strong communication skills, computer literacy, and ability to engage clients are essential.

The PRN Behavioral Health Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy services, assessing patients’ biopsychosocial histories and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and monitor personalized treatment plans.

• Assesses patient problems and gathers detailed biopsychosocial information throughout hospitalization.
• Develops and implements treatment goals in coordination with patients, families, and the treatment team.
• Schedules and conducts therapy sessions, tracking patient progress toward goals.
• Ensures quality care by adhering to regulations, documenting clinical interactions, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Builds relationships with community agencies and promotes program services.
• Provides supervision and clinical experience for interns, fostering professional growth.
• Maintains licensure, stays current with professional development, and practices ethically.
• Performs technical and clinical competencies as required, with responsibilities adaptable based on department needs.
