Job summary

Abundant Life Family Services (ALFS) is a comprehensive behavioral health organization delivering insurance-based ABA services across client homes, clinics, schools, and community settings in Philadelphia and surrounding counties.

The Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) provides assessment, clinical oversight, and treatment support, collaborating with BCBAs, the Lead BCBA, and clinical leadership to ensure compliant, high-quality ABA services and medical necessity across programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, psychology, special education, or related field
• Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) in PA in good standing
• Minimum 2–3 years of ABA/behavioral health experience
• Proficiency conducting FBAs
• Experience writing behavior plans and progress reports
• Strong written and documentation skills
• Experience with data collection, graphing, and progress monitoring
• Knowledge of IBHS and commercial insurance requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
• Develop, implement, and revise Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Analyze data and create graphs to monitor client progress
• Ensure goals are measurable and aligned with medical necessity criteria
• Maintain documentation per commercial insurance and IBHS standards
• Collaborate with BCBAs and other clinical leaders
