Job summary

Chivalry Behavioral and Autism Therapy (CBAT) in Houston, TX is seeking a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) to join a clinician-led team. The role focuses on skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs, supervising staff, and collaborating with families to achieve measurable progress.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA or QBA certification (required).
• Texas LBA license (or ability to obtain one).
• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Experience supervising RBTs and ABATs (preferred).
• Strong skills in behavior assessment, treatment planning, and leadership.
• Commitment to maintaining clean background/drug screenings and a valid driving record.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and monitoring skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs.
• Supervising Behavior Technicians and overseeing the implementation of behavior-analytic programs.
• Conducting behavioral assessments (e.g., preference assessments, functional assessments, etc.).
• Training caregivers and providing staff development for those pursuing BCBA certification.
• Monitoring client progress and ensuring services meet the highest clinical and ethical standards.
• Collaborating with families, clinical staff, and interdisciplinary professionals to create meaningful outcomes.
• Managing smaller-than-average caseloads to maintain high-quality care.
