Job summary

Sephora NY-Union Square is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients in makeup, waxing, and other beauty services at the Beauty Studio. You’ll educate, inspire, and connect with customers while maintaining beauty standards and licensure.

The role emphasizes inclusivity, teamwork, and reliable scheduling, including peak hours. Standards include staying updated on trends, delivering personalized service, and following hygiene protocols.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false lash services in the state.
• 1-3 years' experience in beauty, retail, or service roles.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, trends, and techniques.
• Proven ability to deliver personalized client service and build relationships.
• Team player with collaborative, goal-oriented mindset.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform beauty services and skincare guidance as listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
• Provide makeup, waxing, and other services.
• Stay informed about trends and product knowledge to educate clients.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork.
• Follow company policies to ensure safe, enjoyable shopping experience.
• Be available during peak retail operations (nights, weekends, holidays).
