Job summary

Sephora Powell is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients at the Beauty Studio, delivering makeup, waxing, and other services from Sephora’s menu.

You will maintain licensure, uphold hygiene standards, educate clients on trends, and build lasting relationships in a fast-paced, inclusive environment. This role requires strong product knowledge, a service-driven mindset, and reliability for peak hours.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are performed.
• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service environment.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
• Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
• Stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards and health protocols.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork; follow Sephora policies for a safe shopping experience.
• Be available during peak retail operations (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
