Job summary

Sephora in Richmond, VA is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients through their beauty journey at the Beauty Studio and beyond. You will perform makeup, waxing, and related services, while educating clients on trends and products to empower confident choices.

This role emphasizes service excellence, licensure upkeep, and teamwork. Flexible scheduling includes part-time shifts with peak retail coverage expected, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed.
• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service environment.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends and techniques.
• Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Team player in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment.
• Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
• Perform makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu and stay informed on trends.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork within the store.
• Uphold Sephora standards and ensure a safe, enjoyable shopping experience.
