Sport Clips Haircuts McKnight is hiring an Assistant Salon Manager to support daily salon operations, guide a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional client experience. Ideal for an experienced licensed stylist/barber ready to grow into leadership while continuing to cut hair.

The role offers evening/weekend hours, industry-leading training, and opportunities for career growth in a locally owned Salon Clips location in Pittsburgh.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Cosmetology or Barber License.
• Experience as a hair stylist or barber (men’s cutting preferred).
• Previous salon leadership or team lead experience preferred (but not required).
• Passion for customer service and team development.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support salon leadership with daily operations and team coordination.
• Coach and develop stylists to deliver a consistent MVP client experience.
• Assist with scheduling, opening/closing duties, and salon standards.
• Provide high-quality men’s haircuts and grooming services.
• Help foster a positive, welcoming, and team-focused salon culture.
