Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with minimal five years of management experience working in a social service or behavioral health.
  • Must have a license that aligns with the master’s degree of study (LMSW, LPC, etc).
  • Experience with mental illness and substance use and co-occurring disorders.
  • Experience in respite/residential or crisis 24-hr programs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to provide in-service trainings to staff.
  • Computer literacy: Excel, Teams, Windows, Outlook.
  • Experience with children/youth and/or families.
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.
  • Knowledge of substance use and mental illness in family contexts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision to program staff and coordinate day-to-day operations.
  • supervise Respite Peer Specialist and Senior Peer Specialist.
  • Coordinate utilization reviews and report findings to directors.
  • Ensure safety and security of guests and staff; audit readiness.
  • Prepare reports including billing, facilities, and service authorizations.
  • Represent agency in community outreaches and presentations.
  • Complete staff timesheets and approve time off.
  • Lead team meetings on safety planning and discharge planning.
  • Maintain policy compliance and staff trainings.
  • Assist with guest service plans and daily operations in the absence of leadership.
