Job summary

Mercor in New York is assembling a team to produce and coordinate permit and construction drawing sets. You will mark up drawings, review RFIs, and perform cross-sheet coordination and QC checks on complex architectural sets including interiors and building envelope details.

The ideal candidate is a licensed architect or has 8+ years as a project architect or job captain in US jurisdictions, with proficiency in marking up drawings and using Bluebeam Revu.

Qualifications

• Architectural RFI review and coordination experience.
• 8+ years as project architect or job captain producing permit sets.
• US-based with experience in US model code jurisdictions.
• Ability to mark up drawings and details with Bluebeam Revu.
• Experience in set QC and back-check.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural RFI responses and coordinate across sheets.
• Perform architectural set QC checks and back-checks.
• Conduct technical peer reviews and cross-sheet coordination.
• Oversee constructability reviews and design change approvals.
• Scoping addenda changes and coordinating drawings for bidding.
• Produce as-built drawings and maintain drawing-set document control.
• Support commissioning design reviews and shop drawing reviews for interiors and envelope details.
