Job summary

Dragonfly Pond Works in Rehoboth Beach, DE seeks a field technician to service ponds and stormwater systems. You will identify invasive weeds, treat sites, inspect components, and maintain aesthetics while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

This role requires outdoor work in all weather, the ability to lift 80 pounds, swim, and occasional travel. A pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain one within 30 days is required. Compensation is $22–$28 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensure as Aquatic Pesticide Applicator or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Experience in lake/pond management or pest control preferred.
• Strong communication and physical stamina required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and treat invasive weeds in lakes and ponds.
• Trash removal and visual inspection of stormwater components.
• Improve overall site aesthetics and safety compliance.
• Aeration/fountain diagnostic and minor repairs as needed.
• Implement safety training for field staff and handle admin duties.
