Dragonfly Pond Works seeks a field technician to service lakes and ponds at the Rehoboth Beach, DE area. The role emphasizes quality service, adherence to regulations, and productive workflow for stormwater sites.

You will manage maintenance tasks, support safety training, and assist with administrative duties while growing within the company. The position requires outdoor work in all weather and comfort around water.

Qualifications

• Must hold or obtain Aquatic Pesticide Applicator License within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in lake/pond management, pest/herbicide control or surveying preferred.
• Fields related to fisheries, wildlife management, ecology or environmental sciences are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and treat invasive weeds
• Trash removal
• Visual inspection of stormwater components
• Trim/limb as needed
• Improve site aesthetics
• Aeration/fountain diagnostics
• Minor repairs for compliance
• Implement safety training for field staff
• Handle administrative duties
