Job summary

NUWAY Alliance in Rochester, MN is seeking a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to join our behavioral health team. The counselor delivers client-centered services addressing substance use, mental health, and related personal issues within individual and group settings.

You will uphold strict confidentiality and HIPAA requirements while documenting services in an electronic health records system and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and personal development.

Qualifications

• Current LADC license is required.
• Experience or internship in counseling related to substance use or mental health.
• Ability to document services clearly and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to address substance use, mental health, and related issues.
• Maintain client confidentiality per DHS, HIPAA, and state/federal guidelines.
• Utilize an EHR system to document services and track progress.
