Job summary

NUWAY Alliance is seeking a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) for our Minneapolis location in a full-time capacity. The Counselor will deliver individualized and group treatment services, uphold DHS and HIPAA confidentiality, and document services in clear English.

The role requires strong communication, case management, and teamwork within a multidisciplinary team. NUWAY II offers a comprehensive compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current LADC license is required.
• Experience in substance use disorder and/or mental health within an addiction treatment facility.
• Ability to pass Minnesota DHS background check.
• Demonstrated computer literacy and experience with an EHR system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment services to clients individually and in group settings.
• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with DHS, HIPAA, and applicable guidelines.
• Document services clearly in English and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and personal development.
