Job summary

NUWAY Alliance’s The Gables in Rochester, MN invites a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to join our full-time team. The counselor delivers treatment services to clients, both individually and in groups, while upholding confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.

Required are a current LADC license, being 18+ years old, and prior counseling experience. The role offers an annual salary of $70,000–$80,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current LADC license required.
• Age 18 or older.
• Demonstrated working knowledge in substance use disorder and/or mental health in an addiction treatment facility.
• Previous counseling or counseling internship required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment services to clients and support achievement of personal development.
• Work with clients individually and in group settings to address substance use, mental health, or personal issues.
• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with state and federal guidelines and HIPAA.
