Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health seeks a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for its IOP program focused on adults in the DC area. You will deliver individual and group psychotherapy, develop person-centered treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated mental health care.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed approaches, EMR documentation, and crisis support within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment.
• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• LGSW, LISW, LGPC, LPC licensure.
• Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care.
• EMDR experience is highly preferred.
• Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both adolescents and adults.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults.
• Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight, empowerment, and recovery.
• Design and deliver engaging process, psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning.
• Provide crisis support through a shared on-call rotation.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.
