Job summary

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health in Washington, DC seeks a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for our IOP – Adolescent program. You will lead individual and group psychotherapy, develop person-centered treatment plans, and collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to deliver high-quality, evidence‑based care.

This role emphasizes trauma‑informed care, CBT/DBT/ACT, and EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment.
• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care; EMDR experience highly preferred.
• Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional growth.
• Ideal candidate comfortable working with adolescents and adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults.
• Work in person at our Philly, PA location.
• Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management.
• Design and deliver process, psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists for integrated care.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning.
• Case management services coordinating with families, referral sources, and external providers.
• Demonstrate commitment to excellent patient care via clinical outcomes.
• Provide crisis support through a shared on-call rotation.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.
• Other duties as assigned.
