Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Licensed Addiction Counselor to walk alongside patients recovering from opioid and other substance use disorders. In an outpatient setting, you’ll conduct individual counseling, facilitate group sessions, and develop personalized treatment plans to build a safe foundation for early recovery.

We offer a consistent Mon-Fri schedule (6am-2pm) and pay between $36-$40 per hour—top of market for the Fargo region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Active LAC license required; advanced LMAC credential encouraged.
• LICSW license may be considered if LAC licensure is completed within 12 months.
• Behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload in compliance with regulatory standards and ratios.
• Conduct individual counseling sessions and facilitate group and educational sessions.
• Complete comprehensive behavioral health assessments and individualized treatment plans.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as needed.
• Coordinate care with other providers and community-based services, including referrals and documentation.
• Involve family and natural supports in treatment per client preference.
• Maintain thorough, compliant client records.
• Work independently under ND Board of Addiction Counseling Examiners supervision.
