Community Medical Services is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to support patients recovering from opioid and other substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. You will conduct individual and group sessions, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED or higher with 360 hours of specialized education in substance use disorder.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and manage a caseload in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct individual sessions and facilitate group counseling.
• Complete comprehensive behavioral health assessments and individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with recovery and community-based service providers; document referrals and maintain chart compliance.
• Engage families and natural supports as appropriate; stay current with field developments.
