Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Licensed 220 Insurance Agent to join a growing, client-focused insurance team in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

This opportunity is ideal for an insurance professional with experience in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines who enjoys managing client relationships, servicing existing accounts, and generating new business.

What You'll Do

• Manage and service an existing book of insurance business.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to improve retention.
• Evaluate coverage needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with carrier guidelines.
• Handle renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Review policies for accuracy and identify potential coverage gaps.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and generate new business.
• Stay informed on carrier updates, market trends, and insurance regulations.

What You'll Bring

• Active Florida 220 Insurance License required.
• 2+ years of experience in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines insurance.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting guidelines.
• Proven ability to manage client accounts and/or generate new business.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with multiple insurance carriers.
• Existing book of business or established referral network.
• Background working within an independent insurance agency.
