Job summary

Berman Auto Group in Niles, IL is expanding its corporate office team and seeks a detail-oriented License & Title Clerk / Biller to ensure vehicle deals are processed accurately and all title and registration paperwork is completed in full compliance with state requirements.

You will process and bill retail, lease, and wholesale deals, review jackets for accuracy, and prepare title paperwork while coordinating with Sales, Finance, and Accounting to maintain high standards of record-keeping and

Qualifications

• Automotive billing experience is required.
• License and Title experience is necessary.
• Ability to process out-of-state titles with confirmed registration.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deals and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and bill retail, lease, and wholesale vehicle deals.
• Review deal jackets for accuracy and completeness.
• Post vehicle sales, trade-ins, warranties, and aftermarket products.
• Prepare and submit title and registration paperwork.
• Handle title transfers, lien recordings, and duplicate titles.
• Track and follow up on title work to ensure timely completion.
• Resolve discrepancies with lenders, customers, and state agencies.
• Maintain organized and accurate records.
• Support internal audits and month-end accounting tasks.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Accounting teams.
• Communicate missing or incorrect documentation to the appropriate parties.

Job Description

Berman Auto Group is expanding our corporate office team and is looking for a detail-oriented License & Title Clerk / Biller to join us. This role is essential to keeping our dealership operations running smoothly by ensuring vehicle deals are processed accurately and all title and registration paperwork is completed in full compliance with state requirements.

Location:Niles
Training Location: Oak Lawn, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $22–$25 per hour (based on experience)

What You’ll Do
