Ascension Medical Group in Owasso, OK is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our primary care team. You will assess patients, administer medications, and perform point-of-care testing in a full-time schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm, contributing to safe, evidence-based care.

You will educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge self-care. Required BLS within 1 month and OK/KS LPN licensure with the ability to write prescriptions as needed.

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credential from OK Board of Nursing (OK/KS licensure) prior to hire; ability to write prescriptions for physician as needed.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. OK or KS state licensure required relevant to where the employee works. Knowledge and skill in writing prescriptions for the Physician as needed.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
