Job summary

Regency Monroe is looking for a licensed practical nurse to provide essential resident care, including medication administration and nursing services, while supervising staff and maintaining a home-like environment for residents.

You will support dignity, independence, and individual preferences, and ensure care aligns with resident plans. Weekend rotation is included and competitive wages reflect responsibilities and experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, medication administration, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations.
