Job summary

Anne Arundel County Government is seeking a full-time, safety-sensitive License Inspector in the Office of Inspections and Permits. The role involves inspecting and licensing mobile home parks, taxis, and other permits, enforcing local licensing laws, and handling applicant inquiries.

Under general supervision, you will maintain records, process license applications, and investigate complaints. The position requires driving to sites and interacting with contractors, owners, and the public.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school.
• Two or more years of experience in governmental licensing or regulatory work.
• Valid non-commercial Class C driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical inspections of licenses for mobile homes, taxis, and other entities.
• Receives license applications and processes payments for license processing.
• Investigates complaints and issues violations under County laws and regulations.
• Maintains records and performs data entry and filing.
