Job summary

The LIBRE Initiative, part of Americans for Prosperity and Stand Together, seeks a Regional Field Manager to organize grassroots leaders in Colorado. You will identify activists, recruit volunteers, and mobilize them to advocate for policy reforms aligned with LIBRE's principles.

Travel within the state and evenings/weekends may be required. Ideal candidates are fluent in Spanish and English, experienced in grassroots advocacy, and able to manage part-time canvassing contractors while staying

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English required or highly preferred.
• Experience in grassroots advocacy or political campaigns.
• Ability to supervise volunteers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Identify activists and recruit local leaders across Colorado.
• Motivate and empower volunteers to advocate for policy changes.
• Organize events and outreach activities, including phone calls and in-person canvassing.
• Maintain regular contact with activists to keep them engaged and informed.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors and ensure regulatory compliance.

As a Regional Field Manager (internally referred to as a Grassroots Engagement Director) you will identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders in Greeley, Colorado and mobilize them to take action, and drive policy reforms that open opportunities for all.

How You Will Contribute

• Identify activists in various parts of the state who are currently - or could become leaders - in their local communities, and motivate them to advocate for change.
• Equip these local leaders to advocate for changes that are consistent with principles LIBRE believes in. You will do this, in part, by connecting them to the training and other resources of LIBRE.
• Organize events where you and other activists can engage the public through phone calls, social media, walking through neighborhoods to talk with people face-to-face. You'll also be free to innovate by creating fun or unique ways to reach people to educate them on public policy issues and initiatives.
• Ensure that the LIBRE Initiative stays in regular contact with our activists to keep them motivated, educated, and active.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors, including but not limited to, time management, compliance with laws and regulations, and best practices.

• Excitement to canvass neighborhoods and make phone calls for LIBRE and AFP priority initiatives and AFP Action endorsed candidates, as well as motivate and coordinate volunteers to do the same.
• A valid driver's license to be able to travel to meet with people in your area and across the state, as needed.
• Willingness to work a flexible and changing work schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Integrity, humility, and an entrepreneurial attitude.
• Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect.

50000 - 65000 USD a year

For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $50,000–$65,000 per year. This role may also be eligible for additional bonus compensation designed to align total compensation with an employee’s overall contribution to the organization.

Compensation decisions are informed by a variety of factors, including relevant experience, capabilities, demonstrated skills, role responsibilities, and expected contribution. Consistent with this approach, base salary may vary within or outside of the anticipated range based on these considerations.
