Job summary

Euclid Public Library is seeking a Technology Manager to lead the library’s electronic environment and supervise the Technology staff. The role requires coordinating technology resources, cybersecurity, budgeting, and serving as the liaison with CLEVNET.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least three years of progressive library technology experience, including supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible library technology experience.
• Proven track record supervising and directing staff.
• Public sector experience preferred; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the library’s electronic environment and cybersecurity program.
• Manage department budget and staff supervision.
• Serve as technology liaison with CLEVNET and internal/external committees.
• Maintain network, servers, and website infrastructure; ensure information security.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate electronic services and resources across the library.
• Assist with hiring, training, and staff development.
