Euclid Public Library is seeking a Technology Manager to lead the library’s electronic environment and supervise the Technology staff. The role requires coordinating technology resources, cybersecurity, budgeting, and serving as the liaison with CLEVNET.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least three years of progressive library technology experience, including supervision.

The Technology Manager is responsible for accomplishing the Euclid Public Library’s mission by developing, implementing and coordinating the library’s electronic environment and supervising the Technology staff. Position duties include: overseeing the maintenance and operation of the library’s technology and computer equipment and related software applications; developing and administering department budget; acting as the library’s technology liaison with CLEVNET; maintaining the library’s cybersecurity program; and acting as a member of the library’s management team.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent related degree, or a combination of education, training and related work experience. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in libraries with progressive levels of responsibility. A record of success in supervising and directing the work of others. Experience working in the public sector preferred. Must be able to pass a background check for the Euclid Public Library and the State of Ohio Computer Center.
Work hours: 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday – 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
Starting Salary (per year): $82,374.66 with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life, PTO, sick, and other employee benefits.

Nature of work requires the ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods and operate standard office equipment. Requires ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, set up and maintain work files. Requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. and spend extended time using a keyboard, monitor and mouse or other input and display devices.
Work performed in a general library/office environment. Position may require availability for extended hours as needed, including evenings and weekends. Occasional day and overnight travel by air or automobile will be required for meetings and conferences. Position requires periodic participation and attendance at events and meetings.
