About the position:

This position will be assigned to the Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas-Library.

This is a regular part-time position guaranteed a minimum of 32 hours and a maximum of 40 hours per week.

• Must complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.

To qualify, you must meet the experience requirements below. Experience includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work through programs like Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, or other organizations. Your resume must clearly describe relevant experience; transcripts are required if education qualifies you for the position.

Qualifying Experience:

• Specialized experience in a library demonstrating knowledge of library rules, policies, and procedures for circulation and technical services.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience or training in performing simple computer data processing.
• Experience in a library providing general knowledge of standard library rules, policies, and procedures in circulation services.
• Typing experience.

Physical Effort:

Long periods of standing; recurring bending, crouching, stretching, and reaching; pushing loaded book trucks; lifting moderately heavy items up to 40 pounds; reaching up to 72 inches with/without a step stool.
