Job summary

Tulsa City-County Library seeks a Customer Service Assistant for the Black Wall Street Sundry at Rudisill Regional Library. This part-time position supports merchandising, guest engagement, and store operations in a dynamic library retail space.

Role requires strong communication, ability to work with minimal supervision, and flexibility to handle retail tasks across the Sundry and library floor. Training provided; schedule includes 2pm–6pm weekdays and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of general library procedures and operations.
• Knowledge of product merchandising best practices.
• May work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and Sundays as Sundry hours expand.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers in the Sundry area.
• Update merchandise displays and organize inventory.
• Assist public service staff at Zone A desk and guide shoppers.
• Ring up orders in the POS system and explain return policies.
• Greet customers and cross-sell items to aid store goals.
• Assist with tours and library information for visitors.
