Job summary

County of Volusia's Orange City Public Library seeks student workers for the Library Services Division. Responsibilities include shelving materials, checking books in and out, and assisting with clerical tasks.

These positions are temporary part-time (10 hours/week). Candidate must be an active high school or college student, 16+, and able to pass a background check; valid Florida driver's license may be required within 30 days. On-site work location.

Qualifications

• Active student in high school or college.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must pass required background check.
• Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Shelving library materials and shelf reading to keep order.
• Charge/discharge library items and assist with clerical duties.
• Assist patrons and perform other duties as assigned.
• May be required to work at other county locations.
