Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct all library operations aligned with the College's mission.
• Improve library services through networks impacting collection development, inter-library loans, and reference work.
• Develop library collection to support instructional and research needs.
• Formulate and administer library policies in collaboration with staff.
• Prepare and manage a library budget to meet departmental needs.
• Pursue grant funding to secure library resources.
• Present library programs to the academic community through workshops and forums.
• Supervise and motivate library staff performance.
• Stay informed on higher education changes affecting library services.
• Analyze data and report on library services and needs.
• Assist in departmental allocations for library materials.
• Assess service effectiveness and plan long-range improvements.
• Be accountable to administration/faculty for library duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
