Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Three (3) years law enforcement or security experience, including two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Valid Class C Texas Driver's License.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within one year of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Develops operating procedures, policies, and directives.
• Coordinates work assignments and supervision.
• Prepares reports and maintains records of incidents.
• Investigates resident complaints and takes appropriate action.
• Manages counseling, performance evaluations, and hiring/training processes.
• Prepares work schedules and monitors hours to control overtime.
• Assists in budgeting for the security section.
• Opens and secures assigned buildings and responds to alarm activations.
• Ensures maintenance of portable firefighting equipment.
