Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to move a cart up to 150 pounds with/without accommodation; evenings and weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately shelves library materials and straighten collections.
• Performs shelf-reading and creates displays.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas to provide a welcoming environment.
• Assist at the circulation desk with check in/out.
• Greet patrons and direct to staff with courtesy.
• Follow procedures with minimal supervision and report issues.
