Job summary

Knox County Public Library is seeking an Information Technology Associate for Lawson McGhee Library to install, configure, and maintain PCs, servers, switches, and network gear.

The role supports staff, troubleshoots issues, documents procedures, and participates in emergency responses. A2-level education and CCNA/MCSE or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in computer science or related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience in computer/network administration.
• CCNA, MCSE or MCS designation or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop and notebook PCs.
• Install and maintain servers, switches, and wireless equipment.
• Provide staff support and document procedures to minimize problems.
• Assist with network management and security tasks.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with library leadership.
