Job summary

City of Phoenix is seeking an IT Analyst/Programmer II to provide tier 2 support, maintain and improve library technology systems, and travel to branches as needed. The role ensures reliable customer-facing and staff-facing tech across locations.

You will troubleshoot across ILS, RFID, kiosks, and automation workflows, create PowerBI dashboards, and assist with CMS/web components. This position may involve in-person and remote work based on needs.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in computer applications programming and development and systems analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, mathematics, or related field.
• All finalists subject to criminal background check and City vehicle use requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues across the Library's technology ecosystem (ILS, AMH equipment, RFID, kiosks, PC Reservation).
• Diagnose vendor system errors and workflow disruptions from logs and reports.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve problems and maintain operations.
