Job summary

The Pima County Public Library in Tucson, AZ seeks a Librarian I to provide direct customer service, guide patrons in using collections, catalog, and technology, and lead engaging library programs for adults. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field and three years of experience in libraries or related settings; Spanish language skills are strongly desired.

Qualifications

• Experience with technology (eBooks, email, MS Office, library website, ILS).
• Experience developing programs for adults is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees assigned service area within a library and develops services for the public.
• Serves as supervisor in charge of the library as assigned.
• Assists patrons with library resources, catalog, technology, and equipment.
