City of Boston is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of facilities services across a large library campus. The role includes directing trades, custodial staff, contract workers, and third-party providers, and coordinating with Library management and other city departments.

Responsibilities include advancing preventive maintenance, optimizing energy efficiency, and implementing data-driven KPI frameworks to track cost savings and improvements while ensuring safety and compliance

Qualificações

• At least five years of full-time experience as Facilities Manager in commercial real estate.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in architectural/civil/electrical/mechanical engineering can substitute up to two years of experience.
• Experience with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) and MS Office is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day operations of facilities staff, ensuring custodial, general maintenance, and MEP services are delivered.
• Manage service contracts, vendor performance, and invoicing aligned to contract pricing.
• Develop procedures, reports, schedules, and SOPs to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance.
