Job summary

Your role at Anythink Libraries is to be the essence of the customer’s experience. You greet people with a smile, welcome them into our library, and help them connect with our products and services.

You assist on the floor with finding books, guiding self-checkout, registering library cards, and helping with basic computer needs while promoting programs. Expect evenings and weekend shifts to support our community.

Qualifications

• High school degree, some college preferred.
• Computer literacy with MS Office proficiency preferred.
• Library or bookstore experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the library and ensure a great experience.
• Help customers find books or assist with self-checkout services.
• Keep the library clean, tidy and visually refreshed.
• Talk with customers about promotions, programs and services.
• Offer meaningful recommendations of books, movies and music.
• Coordinate opening and closing, preparing the day’s adventure.
