Job summary

Rangeview Library District (Anythink) is seeking a Concierge who blends customer service with technology support and product promotion. The role involves greeting patrons, helping with self-checkout, answering questions, and guiding customers to programs and services.

You’ll assist with library cards, fees, and ILL requests, while keeping the space neat and welcoming. Evening/weekend shifts are required, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience with customer service in libraries or retail is a plus.
• Comfort with basic computer tasks and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and ensure a positive library visit.
• Assist patrons with self-checkout and locating materials.
• Promote programs, services, and new releases to patrons.
• Maintain clean, organized spaces and monitor displays.
• Register library cards, help with fees, and assist with ILL requests.
• Provide basic computer help and answer questions about MS products.
• Support opening/closing tasks and assist with programs and events.
