Job summary

Sonoma State University is seeking an Electronic Resources Administrative Specialist to manage the electronic resource lifecycle, including license tracking, access issues, and usage data analysis. The role partners with the Collections and Technical Services team to develop policies, document workflows, and present data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in administrative fields.
• 2+ years of related experience in administration.
• Experience in academic library e-resource lifecycle preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Google Suite and library systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage license and renewal tracking for electronic resources.
• Coordinate vendor communications and access troubleshooting.
• Collect and analyze usage data and prepare reports.
• Document workflows and assist with policy development and program evaluation.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and support library users.
