The City of Cedarburg is seeking a Library Director to lead the Cedarburg Public Library in partnership with the Board of Trustees. The role focuses on policy development, budgeting, staff supervision, and community engagement to fulfill information, education, and recreation goals.

The Director oversees programs, collections, technology, facilities, and reporting, while maintaining trends in library services. MLS and WI Grade 1 certification are required, with substantial leadership experience.

• MLS required by job posting.
• WI Grade 1 Librarian certification required or eligible.
• 5–7 years of progressively responsible public library experience.
• 3+ years in library management and supervisory responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develops long-range and short-term library plans aligned with mission and goals.
• Oversees budget preparation, expenditures, and reporting to Board.
• Supervises staff and volunteers, handles HR processes with City policies.
• Manages library programs, collections, technology, and facilities.
• Represents library in Monarch Library System meetings and initiatives.
