Job summary

The CEB Librarian & Community Learning Coordinator manages the CEB Library as a learning hub for children, teens, parents, educators, and community members, expanding academic support and after-school programming. Based onsite in Wilmington, DE, the role combines library administration, literacy promotion, OST coordination, family engagement, and partnerships with schools and community organizations.

You will recruit volunteers, supervise part-time staff, and develop inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in education, libraries, youth development, or community-based programming preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain library administration, circulation, and collection development.
• Coordinate OST tutoring, reading support, and learning programs.
• Develop family and community learning opportunities.
• Organize speakers, workshops, and partnerships with schools and organizations.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers and part-time staff.
• Schedule and ensure access to library during school hours and evenings.
