Job summary

The CEB Librarian & Community Learning Coordinator leads the library as a learning hub for children, teens, families, educators, and community members, expanding academic support and OST programming.

The role works with staff, volunteers, schools, and community partners to create welcoming learning environments with accessible resources and engaging programs during school hours and after-school hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in education, libraries, youth development, or community-based programming preferred.
• Experience working with students and families preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain core library administration, circulation, and collections.
• Promote literacy across textual, digital, media, and financial forms.
• Coordinate academic support and OST activities after school and evenings.
• Recruit and organize volunteers and part-time staff for tutoring and reading
• Develop family and community learning opportunities and partnerships.
• Lead program calendar, outreach, and collaboration with schools and partners.
