Naperville Public Library is seeking a Customer Services Assistant to provide courteous service at the public desk, assist with circulation tasks, and support staff across Library services. Duties include issuing library cards, processing holds, assisting with technology, and helping with curbside and ILL processes.

The role involves interacting with patrons of diverse backgrounds, maintaining privacy and accuracy, and contributing to a welcoming library environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of customer service experience required.
• Ability to interact courteously with vendors, customers, and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Upholds high standards of customer service with polite, helpful interactions with customers and staff.
• Issuance of library cards, processing materials, and handling fees.
• Assist customers with use of library equipment and online resources.
• Troubleshoot self-check machines and other equipment.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in public areas and assist with library events.
