Job summary

Weekend hours are included; compensation is $16/hour. Hours include Saturday and Sunday shifts; on-site work with supervision from the Associate in Law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of library or related clerical/customer service experience.
• Experience at a circulation desk of an academic library is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Circulation Desk operations.
• Assist patrons at the Circulation Desk and respond to requests via phone and email.
• Check materials in and out using the integrated library system, and update patron and bibliographic records.
• Assist patrons with locating materials.
• Open and close the library as required.
• Monitor and report facilities and securities issues.
• Ensure patron compliance with library policies.
• Assist with shelving, shelf reading, inventory, and other projects.
