Greene County Public Library seeks a part-time Circulation Clerk to support daily library operations in Xenia. You will check out and in materials, handle fines, assist patrons, and manage holds, with daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. You may process donations and assist with routing and reporting while maintaining friendly service.

The role requires a high school diploma and customer service experience; familiarity with library systems is a plus. Evening/weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate an automated library system and assist patrons.

Responsibilities

• Check out and check in materials; handle fines and renewals.
• Sort materials for shelving; manage returns and holds.
• Operate paging lists and reports; assist patrons at service points.
• Open/close procedures; process new/donated materials.
• Assist patrons with finding materials and participate in training.
